November 7, 2012 | 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. | The Coast Bellevue Hotel

To encourage job creation and innovation in our country, the federal government and numerous states provide powerful “R&D” tax incentives to businesses in a wide variety of industries. If you think you don’t qualify for the R&D Tax Credit, think again! R&D is no longer about lab coats and patents, the R&D Tax Credit is available to businesses that are performing applied research and development in their day-to-day activities to improve products and processes – yet the majority of qualifying companies don’t realize they are eligible for this benefit. Learn how engineers, contractors, and construction companies are among the dozens of industries now taking advantage of this powerful incentive. In this interactive session, Reed Showalter CPA, Managing Director of alliantgroup; the nation’s leading specialty tax firm, will provide inside information on how you may qualify for the credit, quantify what may be available to you in for form of both cash refunds and tax credits and help you determine if you can utilize the credit.

alliantgroup is a national specialty tax service provider, working with more than 3,000 CPA firms and their clients to ensure companies receive the full benefit of available federal and state tax incentives such as the R&D credit and energy incentives, aimed at creating jobs, spurring innovation, and strengthening American businesses. www.alliantgroup.com
